Laurence Roufart
Laurence is a yoga instructor (RYT 200)
I discovered the science of yoga 6 years ago in Bangkok through an international fitness group. I was just healing my tense muscles after working out hours of cardio and aerobics classes. As I found out myself been immerse more and more into the different aspects of the discipline, I started to become a regular student at a yoga studio and practice weekly hours of the so called Bikram yoga, referred to as “hot yoga”, as the room is heated to 37 degrees Celsius. After devoting myself for over 1 year of exclusively practicing “Hot yoga”, I started to move to the next level and approached the various types of yoga: Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga and Anusara.
I have started to teach yoga after being certified by INSPYA YOGA (Integrated South Pacific Yoga Academy) in April 2011.Inspya Yoga is a dynamic and focused practice developed by Lance Schuler, incorporating flowing vinyasa-style poses and sequences that integrate the breath-mind connection.
In terms of teaching, I like to work on the four physical elements of balance, strength, flexibility and cardiovascular, encouraging the endurance of the mind of each student.
I find yoga so versatile: at certain times of your life it may be appropriate to focus on a strong, energetic practice; at other times it may be more suitable to restore and renew with a gentle approach.
Through my yoga practice I experienced a monumental transformation and an immeasurable sense of equanimity in physical, mental and spiritual well-being. My intention is to help my students find new ways to view their bodies and minds and to create an environment where the path is light hearted and supportive.
It’s never too late, it’s never too bad, you’re never too old and you’re never too sick to start from scratch once again, to be born once again.

Kunal has been practising and teaching traditional Ashtanga yoga for over 10 years now and has a deep love and appreciation of Ashtanga yoga in its purest form and prefers to teach in the traditional way. In this way he pays respect to the tradition of teacher + disciple (parampara). Kunal’s study of yoga is ongoing, it is his experience that all one could need for a life long journey of self-discovery, is held within the yogic texts and a dedicated asana practice.
